Christian fundamentals

The difference between Christianity and other religions is Jesus Christ. Christianity is a relationship between man and God which was established by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christianity is different from religion because religion is man striving to please God through his actions, but Christianity is when God comes and lives in man. Christianity is the only relationship where the worshipped lives in the worshipper, as stated in 1 Corinthians 3:16: Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
In other religions, for one to attain heaven, the work and the responsibility is sorely based on the individual. It is biblically impossible for one to attain righteousness by self, as stated in Isaiah 64:6: But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. However, in Christianity, God is responsible for qualifying one to be redeemed and enter heaven. God did this by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as stated in John 3:16 NIV: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Every religion in the world gives its followers instructions only Christ gives eternal life.
There is no other religion whose founder died and rose again; only in Christianity can we find the founder dying and rising on the third day. Historically, Jesus died, was buried, and soldiers were even assigned to guard his tomb, and he rose on the third day, as stated in Mathew 28:5-6. The angel said to the woman, “Do not be afraid! I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here. He has risen, just as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Acts 1:3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them for forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. More than two scriptures in the bible prove that Jesus Christ died and rose again. Historical evidence shows that after his death, Jesus appeared to 500 people. Above all, the presence of Jesus Christ in me and every believer is solid proof that he is alive.
How does a man become a Christian?
One needs to hear about the message of Jesus Christ, his death, burial, and resurrection, believe in the message through faith, and then that person becomes a Christian. Romans 10: 9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Salvation is a gift of God that was offered to man via Jesus Christ. Salvation is to believe in the name of the Son John 14:12-13 God offered His only begotten Son to take our place and pay the ultimate price, the penalty for our sin: death. Jesus is the only way to God as stated in John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
